A commissioned painting is one of a kind personalized landscape that has meaning to you, and that enhances your living space. This could be a scenery from your cottage, a nature walk, or a beautiful landscape from the top of a mountain. Maybe you like a painting that I've done in the past, but need a specific colour or size for your room.

The Process of Creating a Custom Painting:
Step 1: Book a Call. Once you know you’d like to commission a painting of your very own you can simply drop me an email or fill out the intake form below.Step 2: Vision and Logistics Call. During our 20 minute call you’ll share your vision for the piece. Don’t worry if you don’t know exactly what you want! Some people come to the call knowing what they wanted painted, others only have a vague idea, either way we’ll talk it through. I have a series of questions I’ll lead you through to get down exactly what you want: dimensions, colour palette, style, mood, photos you may want to use, elements you’d like to incorporate, etc.
Step 3: Yes, Yes, Revise. There are 5 phases of the creative process that I will complete and you will give a thumbs up or ask for a revision: a) paper sketch b) sketch on canvas c) Ink outline d) digital color mock-up e) final painting. This is a joint creation and I will make sure you are 100% satisfied. With minimal revisions this process can take around 15 days.
Step 4. Shipping and Delivery. Get your wall ready because your painting is being lovingly packaged and sent out to you. Over Zoom (or in person if in the Ottawa area) we will raise a glass to toast your beautiful piece as you hang it on your wall.
