Original oil painting on a 16x16 inch wrapped canvas.

Lakeside Lily Pads 2 is a piece of summer you can hold onto.

This painting was first sketched on a relaxing cottage weekend, in Val des Mont. Noémie set up her easel on the dock and looked out over Lac Bonin. The sun had just risen over the tree-lined hills, dragonflies alighted on lily pads, the morning sun shimmered across the top of the water creating dancing highlights. The world is at peace.

“Lakeside Lily Pads 2” is a 16x16" oil painting that shares a balmy, relaxing, and lively lakeside scene. With its cool tones, bright accents, and specs of light, this piece brings a sense of calm. This morning tableau captures the vibrancy and playfulness of summer’s natural life — yours to hold and take in.

I sent Noemie some photos of a special spot that made me feel good when I was there and she created a painting for me that makes me feel the exact same way each time I enjoy looking at it. This is what I appreciate so much in her work. Thank you Noemie!
